The heart of WOW is that it is a community by and for web professionals. WOW provides three primary means of fostering community: membership, volunteer activities, and networking.

Networking takes place primarily at chapter meetings and events. WOW also hosts events at conferences and workshops where web professionals can enjoy a variety of networking activities.

Volunteering
WOW volunteers do all kinds of interesting activities including organizing WOW chapters, contributing to WOW’s Learning Center, helping WOW run its offices and web site, and so on.
