WOW Academy and Education Alliance Members
Working in partnership with high schools, colleges, universities and training companies worldwide WOW is pleased to announce the WOW Academy and WOW Education Alliance Membership Program.
WOW Academies are authorized training and testing centers meeting all of the requirements of WOW's vendor-neutral industry standard education and training requirements. Most offer apprentice, associate and degree level programs in Web Systems mapping to WOW’s certifications in Web design. Web development and Webmastering.
Education Alliance Members have agreed to adhere to the standard but require additional time to adjust curriculum and receive the additional training required by the WOW organization.
Many WOW Academy partners and Education Alliance Members elect to utilize their own approved curriculum mapping to WOW's education and certification standards. WOW's authorized curriculum is available for license to institutions everywhere.
Illinois Central College (ICC) for example, offers a model program Associates Degree in Web Systems mapping to WOW's certification exams in the following specialities:
- Web Designer
- Web Developer
- Web Administrator
- E-Commerce Management
