Google Click Fraud Numbers, Paid Diggs and the RIAA Still Sucks

Google has published numbers on their click fraud rates. They reveal some details but there are some solid dissections of the data over at Search Engine Land.

In unrelated news, Information Week is reporting the Recording Industry of America?€™s efforts to pressure College kids into rethinking their habits with music. Prosecuting teenagers apparently hasn’t been working. Their goal seems to be to force their will and the law on a younger generation to effect long-term mindshare. They’re certainly doing that.

Annalee Newitz? over at Wired.com bought some Diggs and shares her experience in a story at Wired. Michael Arrignton over at TechCrunch has some interesting thoughts on this one.

CitySearch is buying InsiderPages.com. The local search and directory markets are still sorting themselves out.? There still? lots of opportunity for marketers and advertisers and anyone that can harness the disruptions.

From Aloha Workshops on the Big Island of Hawai`i this is Brent Norris for the World Organization of Webmasters and the Wow Technology Minute.
