Microsoft AP Video, Yahoo! Facelifts and Skype Prime

Microsoft and the Associated Press are working on a video site together.

Microsoft is also building a Google Apps competitor. Will anyone want to use Google Apps if Microsoft brings their Office suite online?

Yahoo! Answers has added some social features to their popular Answers website. These seem to be just the kind of features that are super popular on other social networking sites. They also released an all new, My Yahoo! In spite of CEO Terry Semel, Yahoo! seems to be doing a? solid job at keeping up and in some areas, leading.

Skype has released, Skype Prime. This is a service that lets you set fees for the time you spend meeting with someone on Skype. You can set your rate and Skype will bridge the call and fees. I like this model and it seems like a great way for some? folks to monetize their time when they want. I smell freedom!

From Aloha Workshops on the Big Island of Hawai`i this is Brent Norris for the World Organization of Webmasters and the Wow Technology Minute.
