Adobe Kuler, Chinese porn and security flaws for the holidays

There’s an Adobe Labs project designers should check out. Adobe Kuler is the name and is basically an interactive? color wheel, elegantly appointed with all the latest functionality including rich corinthian, web 2.0 trimmings. It’s super easy to use and in my opinion, more valuable than several other Adobe products that are still being supported.

Educators teaching color theory will probably love this. Programmers that need to translate or look up color values will save time using this. Webmasters and designers will go home earlier after style guide meetings and the world will soon be a more colorful place. Go to http://kuler.adobe.com.

Finally, there’s? some other news out there today.

A Chinese court sentenced the owner of a porn site to life in prison.

CNET is also reporting multiple security flaws in IE, Firefox and OS X in time for the holidays.

Matt Cutts debunks another myth about web hosting and Google’s algorithm at his blog.
