I’m honored and humbled to be in the company of such great Web designers and Web developers here at the WorldSkills Americas 2012 Web Design contest. The event is taking place in Sao Paulo, Brazil this week.
In a nutshell, top Web designers and Web development technical experts and competitors from Brazil, Columbia, Dominican Republic, Paraguay and the USA have gathered to compete this week in an intense competition covering topics ranging from Web Standards, Usability, Mark-up and Scripting, Visual Layout and Web Programming.
In this six minute interview with Jarrad Langdon, WorldSkills Australiaand Deputy Chief Expert for the international Web design contest we learn from his perspective as a former Web Design competitor and his new role as Deputy Chief Expert at the WorldSkills Americas and the WorldSkills international Web Design Contest event scheduled for Leipzig, Germany 2013.
