It’s extremely interesting to see individuals make the successful jump from print to the web. In this case it’s injected new energy into a craft that has traditionally been brought to others through either print, word-of-mouth or -mother-to-daughter. It’s also great to know they didn’t get it right the first time out of the shute but actually learned through trial and error! That’s really brave and commendable!
Thanks Kim. I’m often asked if it’s better to launch your Web presence before or after you have your site perfected. The BurdaStyle.com example and Nora’s account demonstrates a “just do it” strategy that that clearly worked for her and the company. Her follow up comment of “release now and release often” was also telling as is the key walk away in my opinion.
