Firefox clean AOL old tricks and Google Forwards Literacy

I reported some serious security flaws in Firefox and apparently it just wasn’t true. Although Mozilla is being careful with their wording, it appears that the hackers made the announcement to gain popularity. Dozens of other news organizations were involved. Security news isn’t much help if you let it cool before reporting it and the hackers know it.

According to CIO Magazine, AOL has developed a new version of its PC software designed to simplify and enhance how broadband users access online content and services. It’s called Open Ride and they say, it’s much more than a browser. Where’s my Google truth meter?

Google launched their literacy project. This is a high-level resource for teachers and basically anyone interested in reading and education. Reading is fundamental there’s some funky promotional videos that go along with the rest of the resources at Google.com/literacy.
