Recommendation: Try Flock 1.0

You should try the Flock 1.0 Social Web Browser. For a couple reasons, for starters, I’ve exchanged some emails (open letter to Flock and comments at Brent.fm) with Daryl and Evan over at Flock and I know they’re quality people doing their best to create a quality product. This browser is built on Mozilla and loaded with features to help you blog, share media and stay connected with friends across multiple social networks.

It looks like version 1.0 doesn’t let me send posts to twitter from the address bar. There’s still a few things I just don’t get but overall this is a must-try product. It will increase your productivity (after you stop playing with the new stuff) and expand your mind in the process.

Oh, and with all this attention on OpenSocial and since you folks at Flock are the builders of the Social browser, could I ask one more request? Could we count on you guys to take a leadership position when it comes to helping your users? More specifically, could you help us manage our personal browser profiles including our private data? Oh, and maybe there’s some technical way of letting us join social networks using the data stored in our browser?
