HP Indictments and the Google Truth Detector

In the news, indictments were handed down today by the California Attorney General to Patricia Dunn and 4 others at HP. They basically went about getting information illegally. Fraud is the technical term and these are felonies. This is a long boring story of what happens when internal politics are taken to extremes. We’ve got the important links so come read for yourself. Carly, I’m available if you’d lie to break it down for our listeners.

According to SEO Watch, Eric Schmidt is warning politicians that they better start telling the truth. Number one, that’s not possible. Number two, are your fellow Board Members at Apple aware of your remarks Mr. Schmidt? Apparently, the idea is to allows searches in real time during speeches or other events that helps users identify patterns of truth. I’m thinking this is a great idea but I’m also concerned that it might turn out that somehow Al Gore really did invent the Internet and Steve Jobs may have actually invented the GUI.

I promise no politics tomorrow.
